Are you a Petroleum Engineering, Geological or Geophysical Graduate looking for challenges and rewards?


Since 1951, the oil and gas industry has turned to Sproule Associates Limited for quality petroleum engineering and geological consulting services. These services include reservoir engineering, evaluation and simulation, as well as a number of other special services geared to adding value to our clients. These clients are located in Canada, the U.S. and around the world, and range in size from small juniors to multi-national oil and gas companies.

This is your opportunity to become involved in this very exciting and expanding field. As an Engineer, Geologist or Geophysicist in Training, you will have the opportunity to take the knowledge that you have acquired in University and apply it to a wide variety of projects for a diverse group of clients.

You will work side-by-side with other highly skilled professionals to continually build on your own technical and personal skills.

You will also benefit from our dedication to continually improve our staff, both through internal and external professional development courses, as you work towards your APEGGA designation as a Professional Engineer, Professional Geologist, or Professional Geophysicist.

Job Qualifications

Successful applicants must be new or recent University graduates with an undergraduate degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geology or Geophysics, and related oil and gas experience from summer employment. Candidates must be registered, or be in the process of registering, as a Member-in-Training with the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA). Good computer skills and experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and knowledge of other computer programs and languages is required. Good communication skillls and the ability to work independently or on a team are necessities.
