This one-day course will address the possibiliity of eliminating greenhouse gases through carbon capture and storage. Storage methods, such as geo-sequestration (where CO2 is injected directly into deep formations in oil fields), will be reviewed as well as other possible storage locations, such as deep geological formations, and options. The course will provide participants with a set of course notes on CD (in color) and in a hard copy (in black and white).
This course has been postponed until the fall of 2010.
