Sproule Associates Limited is a privately owned geological, geophysical, and petroleum engineering consulting company established in 1951 by well-known Canadian geologist Dr. John Campbell Sproule (1905-1970).

Sproule's head office is located in Calgary, in the Sun Life Building. The Sproule Executives are located in the Calgary office.

Sproule Associates Limited has more than 100 employees, consisting of over 60 engineers, geologists and geophysicists.

In 1995, a subsidiary of Sproule Associates Limited, Sproule International Limited, was created to handle projects located outside Canada, providing clients with services and professionals dedicated to the wide range of geological and business conditions encountered around the world.

The Sproule companies specialize in economic evaluations of proved and probable oil, natural gas and by-product reserves, coalbed methane, unproved properties, and resource assessments.
